Important Considerations

Monitor Usage

Regularly check your OpenAI Usage Dashboard to track costs and ensure you don’t hit your monthly budget cap.

Quota Errors

If your bot stops replying, check your OpenAI billing. You may need to add credits or upgrade your tier to restore functionality.
Reinstatement Fee: If you switch to your own key and later decide to switch back to the Chatbot Builder AI managed key, there is a $20 reinstatement fee. You must submit a support ticket to process this request.

Best Practice: Token Limits

To prevent a single user from draining your API credits, we recommend implementing Token Limit Conditions within your flows to regulate the frequency of AI requests per user.
